Long-term field trials on reduction of chemical plant protection at three different locations in Germany

Purpose of research: Basic research
In oder to obtain valid results regarding different plant protection strategies long-term field trials are necessary. Espacially when dealing with reduced pesticed amounts. Only through many years observations secure statements about advantages and disadvantages can be won. For that reasons long-term field trials with typical adapted regional cash-crop crop rotations among variation of plant protection strategies including the reduction of chemical plant protection att hree different locations in Germany, Dahnsdorf, Oldenburg and Freising are performed. These trials are part of the National Action Plan on Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products.
