Purpose of research: Applied research

The aim of the so-called post-harvest monitoring is the determination of microbial batch and the mycotoxin contamination of the crop, especially with DON (cf. corresponding indications of Dr. Lepschy, AQU 2). Through the study of wheat and rye samples after harvest will help farmers, traders and processors of the two bread cereals provide an overview of the microbial status be granted. In addition, long-term information about any changes of the Fusarium species spectrum and the associated occurrence of other toxins to be preserved.
