Purpose of research: Applied research

The application of chemical fertilizers and pesticides are not allowed under organic fruit growing conditions. That is why the organic fruit growing requires cultivars with a high level of resistance to biotic pests and good fruit characteristics. Therefore it is necessary the new growing conditions to consider in the breeding process. During the project period the growing of sweet and sour cherry cultivars and promising clones will be established under organic cultivation conditions.
