Purpose of research: Applied research
The year-round rearing of test organisms (compost worm Eisenia andrei, collembola Folsomia candida) under laboratory conditions is needed for experiments to the impacts of pesticides and heavy metals on soil macro-organisms. The rearing of these organisms goes along with biotests to monitor identity, health and robustness.
