Initiator: Funding programmes:
The term 'Renewable resources' is here understood agricultural and forestry raw materials of plant and animal origin, which can be used outside of the food area (food and feed) for material or energy. The objectives of this scheme is: 1. To contribute to sustainable raw materials and energy supply. 2. To relieve the environment through resource conservation, particularly environmentally sound products and CO2 emission reduction. 3. To strengthen the competitiveness of German agriculture and forestry as well as the pre- and downstream areas.
