Description

The Center aims at making a contribution to the improvement of global food security. It links research topics such as sustainable agricultural production systems with their biophysical and socioeconomic framework conditions, quality and availability of food on the basis of resource-conserving farming, and access to national and international markets as well as to the processing, storage, and use of food products against their social and political contexts. A particular focus is thereby placed on development-oriented agricultural research.
