Collaborative project: Monitoring system for health and reproduction of group-housed gestating sows - subproject 1
Description:
The aim of the project is to develop a computer based monitoring system for a early detection of health and reproduction failures in sow farms. Indicators of the monitoring system are the activity (position), temperature and other routinely recorded traits (e.g. feed intake behaviour). In addition, a relational database system is developed for storing and further processing of thesensor data. At last, a decision system is available which support the mangerial functions on sow farms.
