Investigations for the development of a small aviary for laying hens
Description:
The housing of laying hens in small aviary is tested. The small aviary is characterized by an elevated platform equipped with perches. On the lower level the dust-bathing area, the trough, and the nest ist situated. The small aviary may fulfill the regulations for alternative housing for laying hens.
