Description
Since october 2005, the Institute of landscape planning and nature conservation as well as the Institute of regional planning and regional science formed the new Institute of environmental planning. The previous institutes remain two departments in the newly founded unit. Within the Faculty of architecture and landscape science, the Institute represents the fields of spatial planing, environmental planning and nature conservation. By teaching these specialisations, the Institute also acts as a school for the under- and post-graduate courses in landscape architecture and environmental planning.
