Purpose of research: Applied research
A continuous process for the component separation (cellulose,
hemicelluloses, and lignin, extractives) from wood material like beech and poplar will be developed. The project includes the further refining of the chemical raw material into platform chemicals. Accordingly this project includes a scientific and technical aim (development of new products and processes.
