'The description of the economics of conventional and organic aquaculture production and the identification of weaknesses in the entire value chain of production, including loading and processing from primary producers are the prerequisite for the development of targeted measures to promote the conversion to organic aquaculture in Germany. As regards the availability of organic fish aquaculture production sector meaning, there must be in this group of entrepreneurs assurance that organic production is profitable possible or even more profitable than conventional production. above all, through the presentation of economic facts, an employer can be persuaded to increase its production converting.
Through its examination it becomes clear whether and if so, what weaknesses remain in organic production and conversion to open up these. Based on these results, entrepreneurs can take precautions. Above all, it is possible to give policy makers templates for a deliberate increase in the ecological production of fishes to close potential weaknesses. The aim of the proposed project is to create a transparent comparison of the profitability of organic and conventional aquaculture companies in Germany as a prerequisite for the expansion of organic production. The obtained results suggest an important contribution to better closure of the supply situation for ecological fishery products from German production. '
