Project
Project code: EIP-Agri-BW-2018-LPP01
Contract period: 01.01.2018
- 31.12.2020
Budget: 1,096,180 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
Keywords: farming practice/activity, plant production and horticulture, pest/disease control, fertilisation, soil, smart farming
The project creates the basis for the digitisation in agriculture in Baden-Württemberg by facilitating cooperation among farms through the exchange, combination and re-use of data and smart farming technology. The machine manufacurer independent data management, the machine control and documentation enable between farm organized applications in smart farming, also available to small sized farms. Examples are the application of organic and mineral fertilizers, optimized fertilizer planning for precision fertilization, automated material flow balances or the precise control of crop protection applications. The project provides the required data in standardized formats so that consistent digitized process chains can be set up. Two components are the Field Atlas APP, which allows the use of authorized public geodata by mobile devices, and the Field Pass, which provides a standardized exchange format for processing and documentation and enables digitized mission organization.
