Description

The main subjects of our research are landscape ecology, esp. soil science and geomorphology in central Europe and SE-Asia. Our institute has a lot of cooperations with state agencies, local authorities and engineering consultants. The methodical focus lies on environmental analytics, geo-informatic, remote sensing and mapping. Among the topics are Sustainable Land Use in the Tropics as well as Relief and Soil Development in the Tropics.
