Description

The Unit of Tropical Crops deals with two major domains of research: a. Breeding of tropical crops b. Tropical farming systems. All research is obligatory field oriented and focuses on tropical and subtropical area. Students are recruited accordingly. The Unit is an active and on-going partner to ITT-Cologne (Institute of Technology in the Tropics) in Germany, Hogeschool Gent in Belgium and ECOSUR ( El Colegio de la Frontera Sur) in Mexico.
