The project intends to show the farmers and horticulturists a practical solution for a responsible water management. An important aspect is the water level, water abstraction und finally an automated documentation. A continous record of these parameters in a “digital well journal” allows for an optimized watermanagement and simplifies to comply with the authorised quotas. By the help of a continous monitoring of the well (water level and water abstraction), the weather (precipitation and Evapotranspiration) and the comparison with neighbouring water levels (low tide – and flood information service) it should be possible to conclude the impact of the water abstraction at the groundwater body.
