Sensitivity monitoring of azoles in the framework of the Eurowheat-Project, Part III
Project
Project code: JKI-A-08-1255
Contract period: 01.05.2017
- 31.12.2017
Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment
Within a European ring project in several countries, the sensitivity of various wheat diseases such as Septoria Leaf Blotch against fungicides will be investigated with the aim to establish the foundations for a sustainable resistance management. A huge amount of monitoring samples will be collected in this part of the project from different locations, than determine harmful pathogens, isolate and multiply them for further studies. Then, the sensitivity of these isolates should be investigated against a numerous of substances from azole group. These biotests are conducted under controlled conditions, the effectiveness will be assessed and EC50 values calculated. In parallel, the fungicide performance under natural infestation pressure will be determined in field studies.
