A successful establishment of the innovative land use concept Paludiculture requires a multitude of specialists from research and practice. Networking between different areas of science is necessary for a successful implementation of the concept in the region of Vorpommern. Natural scientists, regional scientists, legal scientists, economists and engineers must aim their research at practical demands and transfer their results to practice.. The successful cooperation between different areas of science promises not only synergies, but is also essential for the implementation of the management of rewetted peatlands. Intensive exchange within the project as well as outwards with stakeholders, is important to enable synergies. Therefore, internal and external project meetings are arranged, newsletters are regularly released and the homepage is continually updated. An integrated project management tool on the website aids the cooperation between partners and the joint project is evaluated through an analysis of strengths and weaknesses.
