Development and improvment of calibration models for quantification of scopolamine in plant material of Duboisia cultivars by ATR-FTIR and application of different chemometric techniques
Project
Project code: JKI-ÖPV-08-1314
Contract period: 01.12.2014
- 28.02.2015
Purpose of research: Applied research
In the previous cooperation project the principle application of ATR-FT-IR for quantification of scopolamine in Duboisia plant material was succesfully investigated. The aim of these advanced studies are now the improvement of the basic models by investigation of a larger sample set, more replication measurements for ATR-FT-IR and HPLC reference analysis as well as by application of different statistic and chemometric algorithm. Furthermore, the influence of the particle size of the plant material and the individual thechnical properies of the used instrument should be evaluated based on experiments with different sample presentation (50 µm and 80 µm particle size) and on two independend spectrometers.
