Description

As a new producer of high quality fish feed, Emsland-Aller Aqua represents a joint venture between Emsland-Stärke GmbH – an Emsland Group company – and Aller Aqua Technology APS. The cooperation between these two leading companies creates synergies which benefit the fish breeder. At a global level, the Emsland Group is a leading producer of plant-based starches for various applications, as well as a manufacturer of high-grade plant proteins. This technological advance is important for the successful substitution of marine raw material which is becoming increasingly scarce. Important conditions for successful substitution include a high level of bioavailability, optimum digestibility and maximum environmental protection along with the optimum growth of healthy fish. Aller Aqua is a leading producer of professionally used fish feed with over 40 years of experience and, at a global level, is a specialist for the development of ecologically sound quality fish feed for a variety of fish species. With growing importance placed on aquaculture, the need also increases for high-grade feed which secures the long-term competitiveness of the fish farmer and at the same time provides an outstanding price/performance ratio.
