Description
The Research Group Transport Logistics at the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Wildau was founded in 2004, by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Herbert Sonntag. Logistic solutions, based on new technologies, are developed in collaboration with partners from the business and industry side. The research group has various laboratory facilities and resources - traffic simulation laboratory, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), RFID Lab. Cooperations with research partners exist with Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, as well as with major logistics companies and with the Institute for Transportation and Logistics - TransLogis in the TWZ in Wildau. In addition the research group guides and mentors performance-oriented interns and students in the intersecting fields of logistics and computer science.
