Description
The MASCOR Institute conducts research and development in the area of "Mobile Autonomous Systems" and in the area of "Cognitive Robotics", hence the name. While the former area focuses on research questions about navigation, localisation, perception and low-level control of mobile systems in structured as wwell as unstructured environments does the latter concentrate high-level control of robots. The aim is equip a robot system with autonomus functions in various application scenarios by applying intelligent algorithms and methods in the field of perception, decision making and inteaction with the environment.
