Development of a suitable diagnostic test that fulfills following aims:
- nucleic acid based detection of viruses and bacteria (real-time polymerase chain reaction)
- direct test on potato tuber sap (DiRT-PCR)
- detection of multiple viruses and bacteria at the same time (multiplex DiRT-PCR)
- possibility to test several single tubers in one reactin (pool testing).
