Scientific monitoring of the measure: Climate-compatible management of state-owned properties (KlimaBeSt)

Purpose of research: Applied research
In the KlimaBeSt project, the status of climate-friendly drive options for agricultural and forestry machinery is shown and state-owned enterprises are supported in the procurement of new machinery and the conversion of existing machinery. Any concerns are to be discussed and eliminated. For the machines in operation, experiences in daily use, such as cold-start behaviour or susceptibility to breakdowns, are documented and improved if necessary. Selected machines are tested on the test bench and in real operation with regard to performance, consumption and exhaust behaviour. The results are processed and used in different ways.
