Project code: FLI-INNT-02-unclassi
Contract period: 01.11.2004 - 31.03.2009
Purpose of research: Basic research

Following the introduction of an intensified TSE-surveillance in the EU, atypical ('unclassified') scrapie cases were found in the United Kingdom (which are similar to those found in France and Germany). In this study the infectious genesis of such cases should be verified by conventional and transgenic mouse bioassays.
