FBN Research Unit Genetics & Biometry
Institution
Section overview
Description
The research unit Genetics and Biometry is predominantly active in statistical modelling, experimental design and the analysis of experiments. Thereby, the focus is on application in population genetics, statistical genomics, genetic evaluation and animal improvement programs. Several long-term selected mouse lines are continuously being developed to provide valuable resource populations for investigating, in particular, growth, endurance, explorative behaviour and high fertility.
