Project code: FLI-IMP-08-Je-0046
Contract period: 01.01.2011 - 31.12.2013
Purpose of research: Experimental development
Keywords: epizootic diagnosis, bovine mycoplasmosis

1. To determine the role of Mycoplasma (M.) bovis in bovine respiratory disease in Euro-pean and Israeli cattle herds 2. To improve diagnostic tests providing a more accurate understanding of the role of my-coplasmas in bovine respiratory disease and related diseases. 3. To develop a robust and reproducible typing scheme to enable epidemiological tracing of M. bovis outbreaks. 4. To determine M. bovis antibiotic profiles in real time. 5. To evaluate use of inactivated M. bovis vaccine on farms with confirmed M. bovis respi-ratory disease.
