Project
Project code: 105.1-3234/
Contract period: 01.10.2007
- 30.09.2010
Budget: 649,169 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
The extension of biomass energy systems cause change in land use. The impact of the expected large-scale cultivation of energy crops on indigenous fauna are largely unknown. In Germany there are no scientifically validated studies on this subject. Impact on the habitat function should be analysed in two regions on the surface and site levels. Target species are typical bird and mammal species in agricultural landscapes.
