Description
Both in teaching and research activities, the Institute of Applied Microbiology is integrated in the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Protection as well as into the Faculty of Nutrition and Home Economics. Teaching covers undergraduate and graduate courses. The Institute offers courses (lectures, laboratory work) in 'General Microbiology', 'Biology of Soils and Aquatic Ecosystems', 'Microbiology of Recycling-Processes' as well as 'Food Microbiology'.
