BMEL Frameworkprogramme 2008

Framework

Initiator: Funding programmes:

For the execution of their duties and for the implementation of policy objectives in the nutrition, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries policy the BMEL requires scientifically sound basis for monetary policy decisions and solutions. The resulting research needs are determined in this research plan in the form of so-called main objectives and main tasks of the research department. The research plan is an instrument of research management of the BMEL. It serves the research institutes within the scope of the BMEL to adjust the thematic focus to the tasks and political priorities of the ministry. Since the research plan targets the entire BMEL research suggests it also serves as the basis for the award of research contracts to institutions outside their own division for research promotion of the Ministry.
