Economics, esp. Environmental Economics and Regulatory Policy (520F)
Institution
Section overview
Description
At the moment our research interest focuses on the development and analysis of environmental policy instruments on the one hand and on the economic valuation of environmental and natural goods on the other. There are three major fields of application of economic valuation methods in an environmental context: the budgetary control of public investments in environmental projects, damage assessment after accidents with destruction of natural values and the adjustment of traditional national accounting for environmental costs (“green accounting”).
