Description
ASIIN was founded when a large number of business and industry associations, relevant disciplinary societies and professional associations, as well as Germany's universities (see Member Brochure) joined forces to establish a specialist accreditation agency. This 'grand alliance' set itself the common goal of ensuring that the quality standards in degree programmes offered by German universities in engineering and the natural sciences as well informatics/computer science are professionally examined and certified. They made sure this goal was achieved by placing this review in the hands of an excellently-proven, accreditation agency which specialises in the relevant disciplines. The following provides a brief chronological overview of the milestones in the development of ASIIN
