Description

Research in the Department of Systematic Botany deals with the phylogeny, taxonomy and biogeography of plants, especially tropical plant groups (bryophytes, ferns, other vascular plants, lichens). Regional focus is on tropical America, Southeast Asia, and Madagascar.
