Description
The HVG is a transparent, dependable and reliable partner of the German hop-growers. Besides processing German hops into HVG hop pellets, HVG hop extract and other hop products as well as marketing the German hop production the HVG also fulfils important tasks as a producer group.

- Development of an optimized air distribution system as part of a newly-constructed dryer unit specialized in hop drying
- Minimizing the use of pesticides containing copper in organic and integrated hops growing
- Nitrogen flow on hop farms with fields of different soil character and fertilzation systems
- Persistence of viroids in hop silage and in biogas fermenters
- Use of co-composted biochar for improvement of growth of hop root cutting in copper polluted soils
