The aims of the project are to reduce the intake of nutrients from agriculture in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern into the water bodies, to establish a new branch of agriculture (Farmers as environmental service providers) and to carry out an examination of renewable raw materials with regard to their energetic as well as material recycling options. The aim is the development and application of new methods for the reduction of nutrients from primary production using a combination of nutrient retention and cultivation of renewable raw materials.
