The purpose of our game "Alarm colour green!” is to arouse families’ interest in the topic forest and climate and also to develop and further their understanding of their own way of life in relation to the global climate change and how our climate is linked with our forests and their ability to store carbon-dioxide, both locally and on a global level. We would like to trigger conversations within the family and ultimately change both their thinking and behaviour transcending the limited duration of the actual experimental game. In order to achieve these goals we will use an online platform based on a social-media-environment already in existence, not only for the game but also for its evaluation. It is our aim to initiate and keep going "Alarm colour green!” over a period of three years involving thirty meetings for families. We hope to get about 500 families and groups participating in and actually experiencing the game.
