Purpose of research: Applied research
FORALLVENT has been set up to create a platform for the development of innovative strategies and therapeutic approaches in the area of allergies. One of its key goals is to bridge the gap between the various strands of research on allergic diseases and the practical application of their results.
The project will collect and synthesise knowledge from the fields of allergy and auto-immune research. This knowledge includes the experience gained in various experimental and epidemiological studies in Europe. The foundations shall also be laid for future research into one of the most challenging epidemics of the 20th century and its probable impact on the 21st century.
