Collaborative project: Heat demand forecasting of buildings and urban quarters – Subproject 1
Project
Project code: 2816900111
Contract period: 01.07.2013
- 30.06.2016
Budget: 250,195 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
Main scope of the WeBest Project is to foster energy efficiency in the building sector by supporting end consumers with information and data on energy saving and building refurbishment activities. It is planned to develop and implement an online based support tool providing energy demand certificates, refurbishment scenarios and tips for energy saving. Alternative scenarios and their effects on energy consumtion can be simulated and compared. Investment in building refurbishment can be directed towards higher efficiency. Municipalities can use the tool to generate estimates on city quarter level. They can thus integrate and analyse existing data in a new way. Work packages: WP1: Building Data Acquisition, WP2: Analysis and Concept Thermography, WP3: Building energy simulation enhancement, implementation and validation, WP4: Development and Implementation of Benchmarking Tools, WP5: Testing and Dissemination
