Treatment of stable exhaust air by photocatalytic cleaning systems - upscaling for the requirements in agriculural practice
Project
Project code: EIP-Agri-2022-THÜ-THAUV
Contract period: 01.01.2022
- 31.12.2024
Budget: 400,047 Euro
Purpose of research: Applied research
Keywords: animal husbandry, waste/pollution
The aim of the project is to further develop the exhaust air cleaning system based on photocatalytic oxidation with the character functional model from the previous project CLEAN AIR and to test it in a real 'stable laboratory'. Here, the specific barn acts as an outsourced laboratory, since the complex composition of the barn exhaust air, in particular the dust load and the load with bioaerosols, cannot be simulated in the laboratory. All previous test models of the catalysts and new helix reactors have not yet left the laboratory scale.
