Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment
The approach of the integrated rural development (IRD) was evolved and implemented in the context of pilot projects (e.g. Active Regions, LEADER) and is by now well established in public mainstream funding (focus on LEADER and ILE according GAK). The central thesis of the research project was that enterprises (both of the agricultural and the non-agricultural sector) are not involved sufficiently in the processes of IRD.
