Purpose of research: Applied research
Perennial wheat can be an interesting economic and ecologic option for extensive prodoction on marginal locations. Several selections are compared with a mixture of the original crosses and an annual variety. Furthermore stratgies for growing will be developed. Production of 5 selected lines, a mixture of the original crosses. Selection of new lines, production of a line from IPK Gatersleben (TRI 10366). Production of a mixture with differnent strategies, e.g. different undersown catch crops.
