Purpose of research: Applied research
Innovative pig pens are the main issue to be analyzed by the project. They will be created in interdisciplinary heterogeneous group discussions that are professionally moderated. The evolving pen concepts will simultaneously be planned and visualized. A discourse between agriculture, civil society and science shall be initiated in order to create housing systems for pigs that meet the diverse needs of practitioners and consumer demands.
