This project contributes to the research aim 'Food and consumer protection'. Which funding institutions are active for this aim? What are the sub-aims? Take a look:
Food and consumer protection

Project code: MRI-LBV-08-1032-Größe TiO2
Contract period: 01.12.2018 - 31.12.2020
Purpose of research: Experimental development

Coordinated by the Joint Research Center (JRC) of the European Commission, methods for the determination of the particle size of E 171 (titanium dioxide) in selected foods are developed and tested in ring trials. The methods are single particle ICP-MS and electron microscopy. As an option, dynamic light scattering (DLS) and possibly asymmetric flow field flow fractionation (AF4) will be used.
