Purpose of research: Applied research
Examination of whether the SILVA growth simulator is suitable for depicting growth patterns in both mixed stands of varied structure and also in the conversion phase from homogenous pure coniferous stands. In order to do this, data from the network of experimental areas in Baden Württemberg is also brought in, in cooperation with the Forestry Research Institute of Baden Wuerttemberg in Freiburg.
