The aim of the project is the analysis of the economic, ecological and social impacts of different uses of deciduous wood as part of a national and regional bioeconomy strategy using the example of the state of Bavaria. For this purpose, the potentials and challenges of innovative use of deciduous wood will be analyzed and solutions will be developed. On the basis of technical, legal and structural criteria as well as sustainability indicators, a decision matrix for the actors of the forestry-wood-chain is to be developed, with which it is possible to use different alternative uses for future hardwood use on the basis of product lines as well as regional resource scenarios evaluate and derive options for action
