Within the framework of the collaborative project, a practical prediction method for the degradation kinetics of lignocellulosic feedstocks will be evaluated. Moreover, biological, chemical and mechanical feedstock pretreatment will be assessed. This creates the opportunity to influence the methane formation process by means of specific interventions (proportion of each feedstock), in order to optimize the flexible operation of a biogas plant.
