Altogether 250 upstream migration facilities will newly built or modernised in inland waterways in Germany in the next years. To optimize the functionality of this migration facilities a telemetric study was undertaken to investigate the migration behavior of 3 important cyprinid species at the hydropower plant Dörverden in the River Weser. The results will be considered for scheduling and construction of further migration facilities.
