"The globally innovative Atmowell® technology has been developed and tested. It can reduce NH3 emissions in open-ventilated cattle barns by Ø 58 % and makes an essential contribution to compliance with the NEC Directive.
The Atmowell® technology, consisting of the Atmowell® urease inhibitor formulation, dosing, mixing and filling unit and SmartScraper application technology, can be installed in existing and new cattle barns.
A practicable, easy to control and digitally documented NH3 reduction measure has been created that is easy to implement, cost-optimised and safe for animals, humans and the environment. This contributes to the conservation of resources, sustainable management in livestock farming and environmental protection. Animal welfare demanded by politics and society can be harmonised with air pollution control.
The creation of the necessary planning and legal certainty for livestock farms would provide essential support for widespread use in agricultural animal husbandry."
