Purpose of research: Applied research
Conservation tillage systems should be transformed to vegetables and potatoe production in 'on-farm-experiments' with special focus on soil and water protection. These methods are good established in arable farming, but not used in vegetable and potatoe farming in Deutschland. Methods will developed in the project, which guarantee low environmental loads and acceptable yields in vegetables and potatoes. If possible first steps of introducing these methods in other farms will be done.
