Purpose of research: Applied research
The technology of biogas production is an important technology to use the energy in plant biomass. Biogas can be produced from all biogen materials except wood. Therefor farms have the opportunity to utilize biomass without drying; this may be biomass originating from setaside land or special cultivated main- and catchcrops. In this projekt several native grases and legumes are to be compared to silage maize for their yield with special regard to different cutting systems.
