Identifying stakeholders in the Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture process
Project
Project code: TI-KB-08-PID2232
Contract period: 01.02.2020
- 30.11.2021
Purpose of research: Inventory & Assessment
The project aims to analyze actors and stakeholder engagements in international climate mitigation processes in agriculture, especially in the work program of the Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture (KJWA).
The Paris Agreement also integrates agriculture into international climate negotiations. In 2017, within the framework of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), a process was initiated to discuss issues relating to the role of agriculture in climate policy. Since then, various workshops and contributions have been held in which various actors from this area have come together. We create a stakeholder analysis based on the inclusion of stakeholders in this process and evaluate the results according to topic and region.
